 9/4/2021 Genesis 3:22 [NIV]

And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

We are infected with the knowledge of Good and Evil. To deny this is to condemn ourselves to destructive ignorance: we will never be able to discern between good and evil and our lives will be filled with the illusion we are good while we embrace death and destruction. It is the doorway we entered when we drew our first breath. The only way out is to go forward with that knowledge and to seek Good above all else, until we die.

Death will be the revelation of who we truly are: one who loves Good above all else, or one who loves Self. Self is the will to be our own god; to love ourselves above all else and seek to do what is best for Me. All else serves My perceived best interests, whether it be philosophy, religion, or a false goodness that is in fact, Evil.

God has protected the eternal i by bringing me into existence in this world, where i can discover Truth that will set me free. That Truth is God Himself who entered this world to redeem me from Self. It does not want to die, but it must. Only then can God reveal to me true Good and Evil. All i can do is receive Him and let Him work in my life as the only source of Truth and Good. Only in this way will i ever be free to see and do what is good, because it will only be Him who does it. This life will be a struggle while I becomes i because my I wants eternal life on its own terms. God, who truly loves me, knows this is not possible and willingly died to redeem me from Self and eternal Hell. Only then will i live in His eternal presence, content to let God be Lord over all.
